DAY 1 ARUSHA TO ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK

Begin your adventure with a relaxed introduction to Tanzania at Arusha National Park. Enjoy a game drive through the park searching for giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs and a variety of antelope, with the dramatic backdrop of Mount Meru. Later, take a guided nature walk in a designated area, accompanied by an armed ranger, experiencing the smaller details of the ecosystem that are often missed from a vehicle. Overnight in Arusha.

MAIN DESTINATION: Arusha National Park

ACCOMMODATION: Kibo palace hotel

MEALS: Lunch, Dinner and Drinking Water

DAY 2 ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, drive toward Tarangire National Park, famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobabs and wildlife concentrated around the Tarangire River. Enjoy a game drive with your guide, following animal movements and stopping for photography. As afternoon light softens over the savannah, continue with an optional night game drive, revealing a completely different side of the park as nocturnal species become active. Overnight in the Karatu.

MAIN DESTINATION: Tarangire National Park

ACCOMMODATION: Fig Tree Lodge

MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Drinking Water

DAY 3 TARANGIRE TO LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy a final morning game drive in Tarangire before continuing toward Lake Manyara National Park. Explore the park's groundwater forest, open floodplains and lakeshore habitats, looking for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, monkeys, hippos and abundant birdlife. In the late afternoon, take part in a guided walking experience where permitted, before returning for dinner and a thrilling night game drive. Lake Manyara is one of the northern parks where night viewing and guided walking are available under the appropriate arrangements.

MAIN DESTINATION: Lake Manyara National Park

ACCOMMODATION: Fig Tree Lodge

MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Drinking Water

DAY 4 LAKE MANYARA TO LAKE EYASI

Leave the classic safari route behind and travel toward Lake Eyasi, one of Tanzania's most fascinating cultural landscapes. Meet members of the Hadzabe community and experience their traditional way of life respectfully and directly. Depending on the day's arrangements, join a morning hunting-and-gathering experience, learn about traditional tracking, medicinal plants, tools and food-gathering techniques, and interact with the community. Later, meet the Datoga people and learn about their traditional metalworking and pastoral culture. Overnight near Lake Eyasi.

MAIN DESTINATION: Lake Eyasi

ACCOMMODATION: Lake Eyasi Lodge

MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Drinking Water

DAY 5 LAKE EYASI TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

After breakfast, continue toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. The journey changes dramatically as the landscape rises into fertile highlands, farms and forest-covered slopes. Your guide can make scenic stops along the way before reaching your lodge around Karatu or the Ngorongoro area. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon at the lodge, preparing for the following day's crater adventure

MAIN DESTINATION: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

ACCOMMODATION: Ngorongoro Safari Lodge

MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Drinking Water

DAY 6 NGORONGORO CRATER

Rise early for the descent into Ngorongoro Crater. Your 4×4 follows the winding road down onto the crater floor, where an extraordinary concentration of wildlife awaits. Spend the day exploring grasslands, woodland and wetland habitats in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a designated area before continuing the game drive. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and continue toward the Serengeti, with wildlife viewing along the way.

MAIN DESTINATION: Ngorongoro Crater

ACCOMMODATION: Ngorongoro Safari Lodge

MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Drinking Water

DAY 7 SERENGETI NATIONAL FULL DAY.

Today belongs entirely to the Serengeti. Set out after breakfast with your guide and spend the day exploring different habitats rather than following a fixed route. Search for lions resting around kopjes, cheetahs scanning the plains, leopards in riverine woodland, elephants, giraffes, zebras and large herds of wildebeest. Your guide will read tracks, animal behaviour and recent sightings to determine where to spend the most time. Overnight in the Serengeti.

MAIN DESTINATION: Serengeti National Park

ACCOMMODATION:  Suenous De Africa Camp

MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Drinking Water

DAY 8 SERENGETI | FULL DAY

A second full day gives you the freedom to go deeper into the Serengeti. Rather than rushing between destinations, follow the wildlife and spend quality time observing behaviour and photographing the landscape. Depending on the season, the route can be adjusted toward areas where the migration is moving. If travelling during the July–October migration period, the itinerary can also be positioned toward the Northern Serengeti and Mara River region when conditions and wildlife movements make it worthwhile. Overnight in the Serengeti.

MAIN DESTINATION: Serengeti National Park

ACCOMMODATION:  Suenous De Africa Camp

MEALS: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Drinking Water

DAY 9 SERENGETI TO ARUSHA | FINAL GAME DRIVE & DEPARTURE.

Wake before breakfast for your final Serengeti game drive, taking advantage of the cooler morning when predators are often active. Return for breakfast, then begin the journey toward Arusha with an en-route game drive as you leave the Serengeti ecosystem. Depending on your departure time, you can arrive in Arusha for lunch and onward transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).

MAIN DESTINATION: Serengeti National Park
