After breakfast, meet your safari guide and drive toward Lake Manyara National Park, descending into the spectacular Great Rift Valley. The morning is dedicated to exploring the park by vehicle, with your guide helping you discover its diverse habitats, from groundwater forests and woodland to open grassland and the shores of the lake. Along the way, look out for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, monkeys, hippos and a wonderful variety of birdlife, while your guide shares stories about the animals and the ecosystem surrounding them.

Later, leave the safari vehicle behind for a refreshing guided canoeing experience on Lake Manyara. Paddling quietly across the water offers a different perspective of the surrounding landscape and creates an opportunity to appreciate the lake's peaceful atmosphere and birdlife. After the activity, enjoy lunch before returning to Karatu for a relaxed evening at your lodge. The canoeing experience will be subject to suitable weather, water levels and local operational conditions.
