Your adventure begins in the morning with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha, where you will meet your professional safari guide and begin your journey into the heart of Northern Tanzania. Travel toward Tarangire National Park, enjoying the changing scenery as the city gives way to open countryside and eventually the characteristic baobab-dotted landscapes of the park. Upon arrival, begin your game drive with your guide, who will introduce you to the wildlife, vegetation and fascinating ecosystem that makes Tarangire unique.

The day unfolds among ancient baobabs, acacia woodland and open savannah, with excellent opportunities to encounter large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, antelopes and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive, allowing your guide to follow wildlife activity and select scenic areas for photography and observation. Later, leave the park and continue toward Karatu where you will check into your lodge, enjoy dinner and relax.
