Incredible experience with an amazing guide
I joined a group to do the 4 day safari. It was an unbelievable experience and I highly recommend it to anyone. The price is very reasonable. David is still young but is very experienced. Maturuni Waterfalls + Coffee Tour + Hot Springs
Fantastic experience! I’m a solo traveler and was in very good hands. We started out drive early up to the Mount Kilimanjaro town center region. The hike up to the waterfalls was steady, scenic & glorious; it happened to rain earlier in the morning so it was a bit muddy however it added to the experience for me :) I had the perfect hiking boots with grip, hence I was very much prepared. The Maturuni waterfalls is quite beautyfull and refreshing. Tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Lots of pictures & laughter. Very welcoming atmosphere. We then headed down for lunch at the local farm, and had a coffee grounding lesson, where we learned about the coffee history in Arusha, dance as we deshelled the beans, learning about the process and concluding with a sip. After that it was hot springs, which is a drive away from the Mt Kilimanjaro region. TheHot springs was clear, warm, and relaxing. Time well invested ✨ My tip to other travelers is to wear supportive shoes for the hike, and wear swim suit under clothing so it’s easy to change at the hot springs. It’s a FULL DAY tour. The BEST Local Experience
David is a locap operator, and him and his employees work hard to make sure that you see ALL the animals and have fun while doing it. The cheaper price means that the living conditions won't be top notch, but I came specifically to go on a safari in the deep wilds of Africa. I was not looking for a 5 star hotel option. Wonderful Safari! Simbaland is truly amazing!
Simbaland Magic Tours is truly Amazing! We booked a 3 days safari with David. We are a family of four (kids 11 and 8) from the US. David was great to work with, he totally got us and was on top of every detail and believe me there are many details. We had a initial conversation on Skype and chatted about what my family is like and what we were looking for on our safari. Of course, we wanted to see all the animals, but we did not want over the top accommodations, we wanted unique cultural experiences, a guide that worked well with kids and opportunities hike or bike around. He came back to us with an itinerary that suited us perfectly! I had contacted a couple of other agencies prior to booking with Simbaland Magic Tours and no one seemed to listen, they all came back with the standard itinerary. An excellent experience and a wonderful safari
We spent 3 days in the North of Tanzania with Simbaland Magic Tours, we did wonderful safaris at Ngorongoro Crater and at Serengeti NP; we visited also some populations as Hadzabe, Datoga, Masai etc. Our guide was very well prepared, he knows the parks, the animals and we always were in the right place in the right moment; he was also a very good person, it was a really pleasure to travel with him, we enjoy a lot. Also the car was well equipped and new, it was very comfortable, their windows were so big and very useful to take pictures. Good guiding through Serengeti
We were very pleased with our guide David who showed us the best Serengeti had to offer. We saw most of the animals (except the rhino) and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Lodges were also super, especially Lake Manyara which had THE best view ever! Pool overlooking the dried out lake, a truly mesmerising view! Food was super and service as well. The communication from Simbaland Magic Tours (Humphrey in particular) was absolutely incredible. He was so prompt with his replys and always explained the details very clearly. We received a very detailed itinerary which I really appreciated and the staff were so polite and helpful. Our safari was brilliant we were collected at airport and didn't have to worry about anything from arrival to departure. Our safari driver David was one of the best in the park and found the lions without any problem
