Enjoy a full-day game drive searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions and other wildlife. The park's seasonal Tarangire River attracts large numbers of animals, making it an excellent destination for photography.

After breakfast, begin your journey toward Ndutu, an exceptional wildlife area located between the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a game drive en route, taking advantage of opportunities to photograph wildlife along the way.

Ndutu is particularly spectacular during the Great Migration season, when huge herds of wildebeest and zebra gather on the short-grass plains. The area is also renowned for predator activity, including lions, cheetahs and hyenas.

Enjoy an early morning game drive around Ndutu, allowing time to explore the plains before departing for the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater for an extended game drive among one of Africa's greatest concentrations of wildlife.

Look for lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. After the crater experience, ascend to the crater rim and continue to your lodge in the Karatu area.
