Tour Plan
DAY 1
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive toward Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife areas. Begin your afternoon game drive after entering the park. Tarangire is particularly famous for its large elephant populations, majestic baobab trees and seasonal wildlife concentrations.
Your game drive may reveal elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, impala, warthogs and numerous bird species. With luck, you may also encounter lions and other predators.
Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing with an afternoon game drive.
Later, leave the park and continue towards Karatu, where you will check in at Karatu Safari Camp Lodge for dinner and relaxation.

DAY 2
NGORONGORO CRATER
After an early breakfast at the lodge, your safari guide will be waiting to begin the journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive.
The crater is one of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife destinations, with its enclosed ecosystem supporting an impressive concentration of animals.
Spend most of the day on an ancient volcanic crater game drive, searching for lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and other wildlife. The area also offers a chance to spot the endangered black rhinoceros.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated picnic area while surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the crater.
In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and return to Karatu for dinner and relaxation.

DAY 3
LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, meet your safari guide and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a rewarding day of wildlife and scenic exploration. Upon entering the park, begin a game drive through the groundwater forest, where you may encounter elephants, baboons, monkeys, giraffes and buffalo.
Continue toward the open plains and lakeshore, keeping watch for zebras, wildebeest, hippos and abundant birdlife. With luck, you may spot lions resting in the trees. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated picnic area before continuing the afternoon game drive.
Later, take a final scenic drive through the park before exiting and returning to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4
ARUSHA
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the lodge before beginning your journey back to Arusha.
Depending on the client's departure schedule, there is an opportunity for a short cultural experience in Mto wa Mbu or a leisurely stop along the way.
Continue to Arusha for lunch before the end of the tour.
