This 7-day Tanzania safari combines the spectacular wildlife of the Northern Circuit with a memorable Maasai cultural experience and a guided walk along the Ngorongoro Crater rim. The journey takes you through some of Tanzania’s most iconic destinations, including Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Lake Manyara National Park.

Day 1
Arrival in Arusha
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Meet your safari guide, receive a briefing, and relax after your journey.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive among the park’s iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds. In the late afternoon, proceed to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Karatu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti, searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and other wildlife.

Day 4
Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, with the opportunity to witness the park’s abundant wildlife and, depending on the season and location, the Great Migration.

Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Maasai Village & Crater Rim Walk
After breakfast, enjoy a game drive as you leave the Serengeti and continue toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, visit a Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience and learn about traditional Maasai customs, lifestyle, homes and community traditions.
Later, continue to the Ngorongoro highlands and enjoy a guided walk along the crater rim, taking in spectacular views of the crater and surrounding landscapes. If conditions and timing permit, this is an ideal opportunity to experience the sunset from the rim.

Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu
Rise early for a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater and enjoy a game drive on the crater floor. The crater offers exceptional opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos and other wildlife. After the game drive, ascend from the crater and continue to Karatu for your overnight stay.

Day 7
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a final game drive. Explore the park’s diverse habitats, which may include elephants, giraffes, buffalo, monkeys and abundant birdlife. After the safari, drive back to Arusha, where your 7-day Tanzania adventure comes to an end.
