Today offers a change of pace from wildlife and mountain landscapes, giving you the opportunity to experience local Tanzanian culture and everyday community life.

Enjoy a guided cultural experience through Mto wa Mbu, where you can discover the area's diverse communities and traditional way of life. Depending on the selected experience, you may visit local farms, traditional food-making areas and artisan workshops, while learning about the different cultures that live together in the area. You may also enjoy a short village walk or cycling experience, passing through local neighbourhoods, farms and small businesses.

Your guide will introduce you to local traditions and explain how agriculture, crafts and tourism contribute to the community. After the cultural experience, enjoy lunch before beginning your journey toward Arusha.

Depending on your departure flight time, there may be an opportunity for some leisure time in Arusha before your safari guide/driver transfers you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
