After an early breakfast, you will drive toward the Northern Serengeti, following the movement of the migrating wildebeest herds. The Northern Serengeti is an important migration area, particularly around the Mara River. You will spend the day exploring the area and looking for large herds of wildebeest and zebra. Depending on the location and behavior of the herds, you may have the opportunity to witness a Mara River crossing. River crossings are natural events and cannot be guaranteed, but your guide will monitor the herds and look for the best opportunities.

You will also have the chance to see predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Northern Serengeti before beginning your journey toward Central Serengeti. You will continue with wildlife viewing along the way, with opportunities to see wildebeest, zebras, elephants, giraffes and big cats. After exploring Central Serengeti, you will continue toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Depending on your schedule, you may have the opportunity to visit Olduvai Gorge. In the evening, arrive at your lodge on the Ngorongoro Crater rim, where you can relax and enjoy spectacular views of the crater.

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive The crater is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and, with luck, black rhinos. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before completing your game drive and ascending to the crater rim.

Afterward, you will drive back to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon or early evening, marking the end of your 4-day wildebeest migration safari.
