Tour Plan

DAY 1 ARUSHA TO NDUTU AREA

Depart Arusha early in the morning and travel toward the Ndutu Area, enjoying scenic views of Tanzania's countryside and the changing landscapes of the northern circuit.

Upon reaching Ndutu, begin your first photographic game drive across the open plains and surrounding woodland. The area offers opportunities to photograph wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, giraffes, lions, cheetahs and hyenas.

As the afternoon progresses, take advantage of the softer light for landscape compositions and wildlife portraits. Your guide will prioritize interesting animal behavior and allow sufficient time at promising photographic sightings.

MAIN DESTINATION: Ndutu Area

ACCOMMODATION: Ndutu Public Campsite

MEALS & DRINKS: Lunch, Dinner & Drinking water

DAY 2 FULL-DAY PHOTOGRAPHIC SAFARI IN NDUTU

Rise before sunrise for an extended photographic game drive. The early hours offer some of the best conditions for wildlife photography, with soft light and active animals moving across the plains.

Spend the day exploring different habitats around Ndutu, including open grasslands, seasonal lakes and woodland areas. Depending on the season, you may encounter large concentrations of wildebeest and zebra, while lions, cheetahs and hyenas may be actively following the herds.

During the migration and calving period, photographers may have opportunities to capture newborn animals, dramatic predator interactions and powerful scenes of wildlife survival.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your photographic exploration into the afternoon. Return to camp around sunset.

DAY 3 NDUTU TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

Enjoy an early morning photographic game drive in Ndutu, searching for final wildlife encounters and taking advantage of the beautiful sunrise light.

After breakfast, begin the journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, the landscape changes dramatically as the open plains give way to the forested slopes and volcanic scenery of the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Arrive at your accommodation in the afternoon and enjoy time to relax, organize your photographs and prepare your camera equipment for the following day's crater experience.

If time and park regulations allow, enjoy a short scenic exploration around the surrounding highlands.

DAY 4 NGORONGORO CRATER TO ARUSHA

Wake early and descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a dedicated photographic game drive.

The crater floor offers an extraordinary concentration of wildlife within a spectacular volcanic setting. Explore its open grasslands, wetlands and woodland habitats while searching for lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas and, with luck, the endangered black rhinoceros.

The crater walls create dramatic natural backgrounds, offering excellent opportunities for environmental wildlife photography and wide landscape compositions. Your guide will focus on finding natural behavior and positioning the vehicle to make the most of the available light.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before beginning the ascent. Continue to Arusha in the afternoon, concluding your 4-day Ndutu & Ngorongoro Photographic Safari.
